1. Choose one daffodil plant for the center of the container. The other plants will provide additional blooms to add later.
  2. Place that plant in the center of your container and fill container with potting soil. Hint: Leaving the plant in its plastic flowerpot makes it easy to swap out the plant if its blooms aren’t all opened the day of your party.
  3. Add grass seed to the soil. Within a week, it will germinate and grow a couple of inches; it will continue to grow and fill in the area around the plant. If the grass becomes too long, trim it with scissors.
  4. Before displaying Daffodil Centerpiece, cut blooms from the extra plants. Insert a toothpick into the stem and place the blossoms in the grass as desired. These cut blooms will stay fresh for a couple of days.
